Chris Capdevila


As Chief Executive Officer at Amplion, Chris brings over 25 years of experience in leading enterprise software companies to disruptive market success. Chris is deeply passionate about the paradigm shift that we are experiencing in drug development and the inevitable realization of precision medicine. He understands the challenges that this fundamental paradigm shift brings to our Life Science customers and firmly believes that the power of machine learning will unlock the efficiencies and discoveries that are absolutely critical to success in precision medicine. Chris drives the customer success focused culture at Amplion and is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company and leads all sales, marketing and business development functions of the business.

Prior to joining Amplion, Chris was Co-Founder and General Partner of FoundersPad, a venture fund focused on scaling early stage businesses. As Founder/CEO of LogicalApps, a pioneering leader in the Governance and Risk Management solutions segment, Chris spent 7 years building the company from the ground up, raising growth capital from Sequoia Capital and ultimately selling the business to Oracle. In addition to his early stage experience, Chris has held senior executive positions at leading technology companies including Oracle, PriceWaterhouse, and Fiserv.

Chris graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and was named Software Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 by the California Software Council.

Adam Carroll


As Chief Science Officer at Amplion, Adam uses his 25 years of experience in biomedical and data science to develop the Deep Learning models that power our approach. Adam believes deeply in the power of data analysis to improve human health and derives the greatest joy from managing interdisciplinary teams to achieve results that would be impossible otherwise.

Prior to founding Amplion, Adam was a Director at Bend Research (now part of Lonza) where he ran technology development programs in several areas, including nanoparticle drug delivery and biotherapeutic production, as well as led the team that built the activity quantifying algorithms in the Nike FuelBand, the first wrist-worn accelerometer-based activity tracker. Before moving to Bend, Adam was an Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCSF, where he ran the Center for Advanced Technology.

Adam earned a PhD at UCSF in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a BA in Chemistry at Williams College.

Chris Kraybill


As Chief Technology Officer of Amplion Chris brings over 20 years of experience developing enterprise software applications for a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Amplion Chris was the CTO of G5, a $25M+ annual revenue internet marketing platform in the property management sector. At G5 he was responsible for the company’s technology strategy along with the delivery of new functionality on the G5 Marketing Cloud platform.

Earlier in his career, Chris held several long-term roles of increasing responsibilities at software consulting firms including Blackstone Technology Group and Proxicom (San Francisco).

Chris received his A.B. degrees in Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Science from Bowdoin College (Brunswick, ME), graduating summa cum laude.

Patric Wiesmann

VP Sales

Inspired by Amplion’s vision and belief in a strategic biomarker solution, Patric brings his healthcare and life sciences experience to the Amplion team. With over 25 years of pioneering sales and marketing success, Patric will drive commercialization based on our ability to facilitate precision medicine. Enabling pharma and diagnostic organizations to align the right patients with the right medicines in the right dosages will ultimately improve patient care and outcomes.

Passionate about early stage companies, Patric drives revenue goals and profitability through strategy and execution, including the building of strong sales teams that deliver repeatable and scalable performance that pushes the boundaries of market potential and sales velocity with consecutive years of doubling revenue.

Previously, Patric’s executive leadership was instrumental to identifying and developing viable markets and expanded revenue as Chief Revenue Officer at Praedicat, SVP Sales and Marketing at Medversent, GM at DocuSign and others. All achieved new business and expanded revenue growth with top industry companies. Instrumental in developing applications beyond the initial scope of the product’s development that open new avenues of revenue growth.

Seth Taylor

Customer Success

As an enterprise software entrepreneur, Seth’s career has included co-founding a recruiting software company, and Workday, a huge success in the burgeoning SaaS enterprise software space. Seth is excited to see Amplion contribute to the realization of the promise of personalized medicine.

Seth has a passion for driving more effective therapies and diagnostic testing. 

As head of customer success at Amplion, Seth firmly believes that customer success is not a department or tactic, but a fundamental part of our culture.

Seth holds a BA in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
